To join or renew: e-mail us at info@afw.waw.pl. Application form is available under Contact/Registration tab. Sign up at American School of Warsaw, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 -4:30 near the cafeteria, at the Coffee Morning or AFW Lunch.

(The joining fee is 270 PLN annually).

Important Airport Closings:

Fryderyk Chopin Airport in Warsaw will be completely closed for operations on the following dates in 2010:

-From September 3 at 23:30 to September 6 at 05:00.

-From September 10 at 23:30 to September 12 at 08:00.

-From September 17 at 23:30 to September 19 at 08:00.

Are you Interested in Volunteering your Time?

AFW helps to organize volunteers in the local hospitals and children's homes. Would you like to learn more about our Community Outreach Programs?

In addition, AFW could also use your help on committee, such as publicity, membership, and special events. Some of our special events in the recent past have been Holiday Party, Classical concerts and few special art events.

AFW's Online Bulletin Board

AFW has an online bulletin board where expats can post "Classified Ads" for Items for Sale, Help Wanted or Places to Live. There is also a Community Announcements section where we post items of general interest like youth athletic leagues. In addition to the Classified Ads we have created online forums where you can suggest retail shops, services, restaurants and more. We need your help! If you have a favorite place in Warsaw or a service to recommend, please share it by posting it online! This bulletin board is free of charge.  To post an ad, first register (email address plus a unique user name is all that is required), then go to the appropriate forum and then hit the "New Topic" button.
